The Golden Circle tour is Iceland’s most popular sightseeing route, covering three main attractions: Þingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall. It offers visitors a chance to explore Iceland’s stunning natural beauty and rich cultural history all in one day.
The Golden Circle tour typically lasts around 7–8 hours, including stops at each main attraction. Depending on the specific tour, additional stops such as Keríð crater or the Secret Lagoon may extend the duration slightly.
Due to Iceland’s unpredictable weather, dress in warm layers and wear waterproof clothing. Good outdoor shoes are essential for walking and exploring the attractions, especially since conditions can change rapidly.
Lunch is not included in the Golden Circle tour. However, there are opportunities to purchase food and refreshments at Geysir and Gullfoss. We recommend bringing snacks or packing a light lunch.
Yes, bookings can be cancelled free of charge if done at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. This provides flexibility should your plans change.
The Golden Circle tour has no age restrictions, making it suitable for families, children, and seniors. Children aged 0–11 participate for free, and teenagers aged 12–15 receive a 50% discount.
We offer pickup from designated bus stops throughout downtown Reykjavík. Pickup begins approximately 30 minutes before departure. You will receive your assigned bus stop number when you book. If you are staying outside the city centre, designated stops are available for convenient access.
If you miss the Northern Lights due to bad weather on a combined Golden Circle and Northern Lights tour, we will arrange another tour for free. The Northern Lights season runs from late August through April.
